Polyacrylamide is a high polymer water soluble polymer, is an efficient flocculant for Water Treatment Chemicals, according to the ionic type can be divided into anionic polyacrylamide, cationic polyacrylamide and non-ionic polyacrylamide, and zwitterionic polyacrylamide.
Polyaluminum chloride is an inorganic polymer coagulant, referred to as polyaluminum PAC, due to the bridging effect of hydroxide ions and polyvalent anion polymerization and production of inorganic polymer water treatment agents with larger molecular weight and higher charge. In the form can be divided into solid and liquid two, solid according to the color is divided into brown, beige, golden yellow and white, different colors of polyaluminum chloride in the application and production technology also has a big difference.
Polyaluminum chloride itself is also a water purification agent, in some industries with low requirements, and in the case of a single water quality component, the treatment effect can also meet the discharge requirements. Polyacrylamide has a very superior effect in the treatment of wastewater, and can be used alone to achieve very ideal results, but it is not a panacea, and in many cases, the effect is better with inorganic coagulants. The following points must be noted when using polyacrylamide with polyaluminum chloride:
1) Polyacrylamide and polyaluminum chloride cannot be dissolved in a dissolving tank.
2) Determine the type of polyacrylamide used with polyaluminum chloride through experiments.
3) The placement of polyacrylamide and polyaluminum chloride is determined by repeated tests.
4) Determine the dosage of polyacrylamide and polyaluminum chloride by experiment.
5) Control the reaction time of wastewater and two kinds of agents.
